Day 2
Gangotri Darshan & Divine Blessings
- Early morning drive to Gangotri (picturesque Himalayan route) • Special Darshan & Pooja at Gangotri Temple for the couple & family • Holy Ganga Jal collection ceremony for wedding rituals • Breakfast at Gangotri base town • Afternoon: Leisure walk near Bhagirathi river, visit Surya Kund & Pandava Gufa • Light lunch with local cuisine • Evening: Spiritual bhajan sandhya with devotional singers • Overnight stay at Gangotri / nearby lodge
Day 3
Mehendi, Haldi & Sangeet
- Morning Haldi Ceremony o Setup with yellow marigolds, bilva leaves, and flowing Ganga water o Rituals with family songs, dhol, and conch shells
- Late Morning Mehendi Function o Riverside setup with colorful canopies & Himalayan flowers o Professional mehendi artists for bride & guests o Entertainment: Folk singers narrating Garhwali marriage songs o Refreshments: Herbal teas, jaljeera, chaat, and snacks
- Afternoon o Leisure time & light lunch with Garhwali thali
- Sangeet Evening o Theme: “Sacred Rhythms” – blend of Garhwali folk dance & Bollywood music o Dinner: Vegetarian feast featuring Himalayan + North Indian delicacies • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi
Day 4
The Sacred Wedding
- Morning Baraat o Groom’s entry with horse, dhol, nagada, and conch shells o Family dance near riverbank
- Wedding Ceremony o Mandap set up on the banks of Bhagirathi river, decorated with marigolds, roses & diyas o Rituals performed with holy Ganga Jal and Vedic chants o Pandit officiates the wedding invoking blessings of Goddess Ganga
- Wedding Feast o Pure vegetarian meal with Garhwali cuisine + North Indian delicacies
- Evening: Departure or overnight stay for next morning checkout
