Day 1
Arrival & Traditional Assamese Welcome
- Guest arrival at Guwahati Airport. • Warm welcome with gamosa (traditional Assamese scarf), arti & dhol beats. • Check-in at luxury riverside resort. • Evening: Sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River with live Bihu folk music & dance. • Dinner: Authentic Assamese thali (khar, tenga, pitika, pitha, payas). • Overnight stay.
Day 2
Sacred Blessings & City Tour
- Morning visit to Kamakhya Temple for divine blessings. • Midday: Excursion to Umananda Temple (Peacock Island) in the middle of Brahmaputra. • Lunch: Riverside satvik meal with local delicacies. • Afternoon: Tea garden visit for heritage walk & couple photoshoot. • Evening cultural showcase: Bihu dance, folk drumming & Sattriya dance. • Overnight stay.
Day 3
Mehendi, Haldi & Sangeet
- Haldi Ceremony o Traditional décor with banana leaves, rangoli & marigolds. o Dhol beats & Assamese folk songs.
- Mehendi Function o Open garden/courtyard decorated with colorful canopies & bamboo craft décor. o Mehendi artists create intricate designs with motifs of peacocks, rivers & flowers. o Refreshments: Pitha, laru, jolpan, tea.
- Sangeet & Cocktail Night o Theme: “Riverside Rhythms” – Fusion of Bihu, Bollywood, and DJ beats. o Poolside / rooftop setup with fairy lights & floral décor. o Gala Dinner: Assamese + Indian + Continental menu. • Overnight stay.
Day 4
The Divine Wedding Ceremony
- Baraat o Groom’s entry on boat/horse with dhol, pepa (traditional horn), and folk dancers.
- Wedding Ceremony o Mandap by the Brahmaputra River or a temple courtyard. o Vedic rituals performed with blessings of Goddess Kamakhya. o Décor: Lotus flowers, marigolds, bamboo crafts, diyas.
- Wedding Feast o Lavish Assamese spread with fish tenga, chicken curry, khar, dal, rice, pitika, pitha, and payas.
- Evening: Reception (Optional) with live folk music and fireworks by the riverside. • Departure or next morning checkout.
